Cristina E. Moscoso-D’Abate is an Senior Associate at Vidal, Nieves & Bauzá, L.L.C. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Moscoso-D’Abate worked as a law clerk at several well-known law firms in San Juan, where she had the opportunity to work closely with attorneys in different areas of the law, including corporate law, contracts, mortgage, intellectual property, bankruptcy, litigation, labor & employment, and environmental, energy & land use matters. She has accumulated significant experience with bankruptcy, secured and unsecured creditor’s rights, and debt restructuring, among other matters. 
 

While in law school, she participated as Teacher’s Assistant of the Legal Research, Writing and Analysis Courses, helping professors prepare students for their oral appellate argumentations, offering editing workshops on legal citation and conferences on legal hermeneutics, specifically on the importance of the legislative process and history for the interpretation of statutes. She also worked as a student Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Gretchen Coll Martí of the Puerto Rico Court of Appeals for the Fall Semester of 2015, where she drafted opinions concerning complex cases of great importance and high public interest. From 2014 to 2016, Ms. Moscoso-D’Abate served as an Associate Director and Editor of the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico Law Review Volume L and recently published Asesinato sin cuerpo: Un análisis jurisprudencial de la suficiencia de la prueba circunstancial, 49 Rev. Jurídica U. Inter. P.R. 583 (2015).
