Joserrolando Emmanuelli-Colón is an Senior Associate at Vidal, Nieves & Bauzá LLC. Since joining the firm, Mr. Emmanuelli-Colón regularly assists clients with matters related to notarial law, corporate governance, permitting, real estate transactions, the review and drafting of commercial contracts, administrative and procurement processes, and civil litigation. He has worked closely with clients in the permitting and procurement process of several multi-million-dollar contracts involving local and federal agencies. He has worked in the organization and licensing of international insurers and international financial entities. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Emmanuelli-Colón worked as an “of counsel” attorney for a corporate law firm in matters of commercial contracts and intellectual property. He successfully completed the Harvard Law School Negotiation Workshop program for lawyers.

While in law school, he interned in the Puerto Rico Court of First Instance, where he clerked for several Superior Court Judges attending criminal procedures. He also served as a student practitioner at the University of Puerto Rico Legal Aid Clinic, where he worked as a pro bono civil litigation attorney in numerous cases, including breach of contract, torts and small claims collection of monies cases.

In addition to law, Mr. Emmanuelli-Colón is an award-winning filmmaker, having co-written and co-directed numerous short films which have been screened in dozens of Film Festivals around the world and received over thirty National and International awards in five continents.
